emtec Electronic presents innovative testing instruments in Florida

The German company emtec Electronic GmbH will attend the IDEA 2019 in Miami Beach, Florida, USA from March 25th to 28th. Together with the representative Technidyne Corporation, they will present innovative testing instruments for the industry of nonwovens and engineered fabrics at exhibition booth no. 979:

The TSA – Softness Analyzer enables an objective evaluation of the softness, roughness and stiffness of nonwovens or fabrics. Included into the softness measurement is the measurement of the viscoelastic, elastic and plastic properties, which are represented by the elasticity, plasticity and hysteresis. With an extra module, the compressibility can be measured.

With the CAS touch! and the FPA, two very interesting instruments will be displayed at the booth as well. Both help to get information about the efficiency and the interaction of chemical additives with the fibers of the material. With the provided information, the additive itself, its consumption in the process and the quality of the finished product can be optimized very well.
